Humanitarian Cold Chain Proof of Concept Workshop Geneva, 27 November 2018

TSS, in close co-operation with Business Sweden, is to host a workshop event at Palais des Nations in Geneva on the 27th of November about Humanitarian Cold Chain.

TSS, in close co-operation with Business Sweden, is to host a case proof of concept and workshop event at Palais des Nations in Geneva this November. The subject of discussion is Humanitarian Cold Chain and how to ensure safe delivery of drugs to people in need, even in remote geographical areas.

H.E. Mr. Mikael Anzén, Ambassador and Permanent Representative of Sweden to the World Trade Organisation, will attend the event along with logistic managers, warehouse managers and supply chain managers from highly esteemed organizations such as World Health Organization (WHO), World Food Program (WFP), United Nations Humanitarian Response Depot (UNHRD), Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO).

During the event, WFP/UNHRD Dubai will present their case study on cloud enabled last mile visibility in remote destinations.  There will also be a round table discussion, focusing on the question: How could innovative technology address cold chain challenges for shipping temperature sensitive goods to the most remote locations?
